Pythion of the Mad Oracle

Once, a temple to Apla, goddess of prophecy and slayer of the great serpent Python, laid here. A century ago, madness befell the Oracle and her priests as fell vapors rose up into her chamber. The surrounding caverns are now disputed between the oracle’s cult and a gang of wily Herpestids, 4’ tall humanoid mongooses.

Designed for use with any old-school fantasy adventure game, for a part of 3-6 characters of 2nd to 3rd level.
